Flight Lieutenant Inderbir Singh, born in 🇮🇳 India, enlisted in the 🇦🇺 Royal Australian Air Force (RAAF) in October 2014. In July 2019, FLTLT Singh commissioned and became an Aircraft Electronics Engineering Officer. 🇰🇷 Republic of Korea Navy Escort Task Group ROKS Dae Jo-yeong, while in support of 🇧🇷 Brazilian-led Combined Task Force 151, conducted a multi-fire exercise in the vicinity of the Gulf of Aden, May 3. 🇧🇷 Brazilian Navy-led Combined Task Force 151, conducted focused operation Mare Liberum IV, “The Freedom of the Seas”, April 28 – May 3. Lieutenant Commander Yusuke Kuwahara joined the 🇯🇵 Japan Maritime Self-Defence force (JMSDF) in March 2013 to train as a Naval Officer. After graduating Officer Candidate School, he became a naval aviator trainee. His initial role upon completion of training was a Tactical Coordinator (TACO) of maritime patrol aircrafts. 🇨🇦 Canadian-led Combined Task Force (CTF) 150 concluded Focused Operation (FO) CRIMSON BARRACUDA, resulting in the seizure and disposal of 4,917 kg of narcotics in 7 days, Apr 14. 🇯🇵 Japanese Maritime Self-Defense Force aircraft P-3C from 🇧🇷 Brazilian-led Combined Task Force 151 and 🇹🇷 Turkish Navy ship TCG KINALIADA participated in a multi-national activity in the Gulf of Aden, Apr 20. This ANZAC Day, members of Combined Maritime Forces gathered for a memorial service at dawn to pay tribute to the fallen. Captain Gacusan joined the 🇵🇭 Philippine Navy and graduated from the Philippine Military Academy in 2000 with a bachelor’s degree of science in Management. An accomplished Surface Warfare Officer with a strong background in naval operations, he has held numerous commands. This includes the Commanding Officer of the Patrol Gunboat 396, 3rd Boat Attack Division, Littoral Combat Force and Joint Task Force Tawi-Tawi, to name a handful of Capt. Gacusan’s appointments. Combined Maritime Forces hosted senior military leaders from member and partner nations during a two-day annual maritime security conference in Manama, Bahrain, April 16-17. ⚓️
