Commander Combined Task Force 152 (CCTF152) recently said farewell to six Royal Jordanian Navy staff who were assigned to the Combined Maritime Forces (CMF) since January 2020.
Of special significance was the departure of Lieutenant Commander Samera Also’ub, who was the first female Royal Jordanian Navy officer to be assigned overseas. She’s played a key part in the CTF152 command and their role in conducting maritime security operations in the Gulf.
Commander of CTF 152, CDR Omar Alodat, said: “It is a pleasure today to thank the crew who completed their assignment at CMF in Bahrain and I wish them all well with their future careers.
“I am especially delighted to have worked with LCDR Also’ub and to have been part of the Royal Jordanian Navy’s strive for equality in the workplace.”
