CTF 150: Getting into the Holiday (and Hockey) Season’s Spirit #WorldJuniors

Street_Hockey.jpegWith temperatures averaging in the mid-20s here in Manama, Bahrain, Canada’s Operation ARTEMIS team may not be having a white Christmas this year – but they are taking time from their busy schedule, leading Combined Task Force 150, to get into the holiday (and hockey) spirit

This Christmas season, the Canadians brought some “old school” style hockey to the “alleyways” of Bahrain introducing some of their American, Australian and Pakistani colleagues to Canada’s Game.

With this in mind they’ve shared a few images with us which we’ve put together in an Adobe Spark Photo Story. You can also view a video of the team’s antics on the CMF Facebook page.

In his message back to families and supporters of Op ARTEMIS (Canada’s mission to the Middle East), Commander CTF 150 Commodore Edmundson also included a Shout Out for the home nation’s Word Junior Hockey team, he said:

For Canada’s World Junior Hockey Team from your Team Canada here in Bahrain, Giddy-Up…Get R Done!”

good-luck
