TCG Gemlik holds CTF 151 reception

A reception was held on board the Combined Task Force (CTF) 151 Turkish Navy Flagship TCG Gemlik (F-492) after the CTF 151 Change of Command Ceremony when Turkey took over command from Japan.

The reception was hosted by the Republic of Turkey Ambassador Her Excellency Mrs Hatun Demirer and the CTF 151 Commander, Captain Ayhan Bay. Guests included the Japanese Ambassador to the Kingdom of Bahrain HE Mr Kiyoshi Asako; the U.S Ambassador to the Kingdom of Bahrain HE Mr William V Roebuck and Vice Admiral John Miller, Commander Combined Maritime Forces.
