A number of countries participated in the training in addition to the combined task forces within CMF: We also had member from the Bahrain Naval Forces and Saudi Naval Forces. This training covered series of lectures aimed at: overview of MEMAC since this is our first engagement with them, immediate response to the spilling, outline the legal obligations to prevent marine pollution events by warship COs and the potential liability in the event of a spill, outline the obligations to report a spill from a CMF ship in international waters what support can CMF PA provide to the affected ship?, how to protect CMF credibility when responding to media queries how could a spill be continuously monitored by CMF HQ, employing surface, air, spaced-based assets?
