Egyptian Naval Officers visit Combined Maritime Forces
The Egyptian Navy recently visited Bahrain with a four ship training task group to participate in an exercise with the Royal Bahrain Navy. Combined Maritime Forces (CMF) was pleased to host a visit by an Egyptian delegation during the port visit, at the CMF Headquarters on Naval Support Activity Bahrain.

Commander Combined Task Force 151 strengthens ties with Royal Saudi Naval Force
Commander Combined Task Force 151 (CCTF150) Commodore Asif Hameed Siddique recently visited the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia for a Key Leadership Engagement (KLE) to continue the interoperability of Combined Maritime Forces (CMF) Nations to Maritime security operations throughout the Region. During his visit CCTF-151 met Key Leadership of the Royal Saudi Naval Force (RNSF), Coast Guard and Special Naval Forces.

CTF 150 meets at sea with TF 473
Combined Task Force (CTF) 150’s flagship, French Ship (FS) Var, had on-going interactions in the North Arabian Sea, with Task Force (TF) 473, the French Carrier battle group. The two Task Force Commanders, both belonging to the French Navy, met onboard the FS Var.

Combined Maritime Forces chairs the 35th SHADE counter-piracy conference
01 Apr 15, the 35th SHADE conference convened in Bahrain to discuss counter-piracy efforts. This unique gathering held quarterly allowed over 120 representatives from the commercial shipping industry sector, Military forces engaged in counter-piracy, Civilian and International representatives with a vested interest in the activities to prevent piracy activities to come together to discuss the latest developments in the fight against Somali based piracy.
