The cordial meeting was an opportunity for Cdre Khan to emphasize the need for continuing close coordination between Combined Maritime Force (CMF) and RJNF. It was mutually agreed that challenges to maritime security in the region can be better addressed through cooperation amongst regional countries and CMF.

The RJNF remains fully committed to playing its role in the common cause of generating stable maritime environment, with Jordan’s officials expressing concern over cross-border human trafficking and the political turmoil in bordering states.

Jordanian officials expressed their willingness to continue their support to CMF Maritime Security Operations.
